6/7 CREW NEWS: 6th and 7th Portfolio Presentation Days

6th and 7th grade students are putting the finishing touches
on their portfolios and preparing for their presentations. Seventh
grade students will be presenting on Friday, May 16th. There
will be no school for the 6th and 7th graders on Friday, May
16th. Sixth grade presentations are scheduled for May 19th and
20th during school hours. School will be in session these days.
These presentations are the culmination of individual efforts
in learning for the 2007-2008 school year. An effective presentation
is an integral part of passage into the next grade level. It
is vital that parents and family members attend these portfolio
presentations to provide students with an important audience
with which to present. Please feel free to invite persons of
importance to your student's presentation.
Letters will be mailed
out next week to parents indicating scheduled presentation times.
