Dear Schoolcrafters,
We are seeking nominations for the upcoming School Board elections. As we look ahead, we encourage you to think about nominating someone (or yourself) for the School Board. This election cycle we are seeking 2 Teacher Board Members, and 1 Parent Board Member.
Why nominate?
Representation: Ensure diverse voices and perspectives.
Decision-Making: Contribute to important decisions impacting our schools.
Community Engagement: Bridge the gap between parents, teachers, administrators, and the community.
How to nominate:
Identify Candidates: Think about someone committed to education and community.
Check Eligibility: Ensure they meet the Board’s nomination criteria.
Teacher Board Member: Must be current, licensed Schoolcraft teacher.
Parent Board Member: Must be parent/guardian of current Schoolcraft student(s).
(An individual is prohibited from serving as a board member if an immediate family member is an employee of the school)
Nomination Process: Check your email on record for SLC Board Nomination Form 2024 or request a paper copy by emailing alison@schoolcraft.org Paper copies must be returned the following address by March 4th to be considered:

Nominations are open February 2nd, 2024 through March 4th, 2024. The voting period will be March 25th, 2024 through April 2nd, 2024 (more information will be provided before elections).
