We are excited to introduce our 1st Annual SLC Board Celebration! It will take place from 5-6PM at SLC on Tuesday, May 14th. This celebration is open to all interested community members, and will be similar to our student celebrations. It is a time to celebrate the successes of the board this year, to see exactly what we have been working on, as well as visions for the future.
Here is what we will be sharing at the celebration:
Revealing our new 5 year strategic plan & all of the goals that go with it.
Talking about our focus on Governing for Greatness.
Going through our board goals for the past year, and how we met these goals.
Looking at how the board used the Habits of Scholarship in the past year.
Discussing the steps we are looking to take to acquire our building including, the formation of our Affiliated Building Corporation.
There will be light refreshments provided, as well as childcare available during the celebration.
Our regularly scheduled board meeting will take place following this celebration, starting approximately at 6PM.
The board has done some amazing work this year and we would be delighted to have you at this celebration! Hope to see you there!
