Description:

The Special Education Paraprofessional will provide support and instruction to students receiving special education services in various educational environments to help them reach their potential in becoming self-directed, lifelong learners who have the skills and knowledge to confidently and compassionately navigate in the world. This may include instructional support, behavior management, health and medical support, assisting students with activities of daily living, and communicating student academic and behavioral success and/or concerns. Percentage of time spent on essential duties and responsibilities will be dependent on student needs and abilities.
